Two colleagues from X Gate had the incredible opportunity to attend UXplore 2025, and they are still buzzing from the experience! After participating in UXplore 2023, which was already packed with value, they were eager to see how the event would evolve, and this year, it absolutely exceeded expectations.

The full-day conference brought together designers, developers, and strategists from across the region, and offered a lineup of presentations that delivered both practical advice and strategic insights. Here are just a few highlights:
From Good to Great UI: 10 Things You Need to Know About Mobile Apps
Rebecca Popova delivered a fantastic session filled with actionable takeaways for mobile UI design. She emphasized the importance of clear screen structure, design consistency, and adherence to OS guidelines. One key message that resonated with us: avoid visual noise. Inconsistent alignment and justified text may seem like small issues, but they can quickly degrade the user experience.

UX with Attitude, DX with Precision
Ilija Bojchovik’s talk focused on streamlining collaboration between UX and development teams. He shared how small process optimizations can lead to big results, less chaos, fewer meetings, and more focused execution. When designers and developers work in harmony, the results speak for themselves: clearer communication, aligned goals, and ultimately, better products.

“UXplore isn’t just about design trends, it’s about real conversations that move the industry forward. Being here with my colleague and exchanging ideas in person reminded me how important collaboration is to growth.” – Rosana, UX/UI Designer / Project Manager at X Gate
Collaboration and Conversations That Matter
Rosana and Marija as colleagues, throughout the day, had enriching discussions about Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and its critical role in improving the visibility and performance of digital products. It was a great reminder that UX and SEO are closely connected, both aim to create meaningful, accessible experiences for users.
“Spending the day immersed in UX discussions reminded me how powerful the intersection between content, SEO, and user experience really is. As someone working in SEO and content strategy and having completed a UX/UI bootcamp, it was exciting to see how these disciplines support each other. One of the highlights was exchanging ideas with my colleague Rosana, our conversations made it clear that great UX means crafting content that not only informs and engages, but also fits seamlessly into the user journey, exactly when and where it’s needed.” – Marija Panovska, Content Writer & SEO Specialist at X Gate
Design as a Business Strategy
Riste Lazoroski brought a powerful perspective on how UX directly impacts business outcomes. He spoke about aligning design with business goals and the importance of trusting your intuition, especially when backed by experience. His key advice: prioritize the user, stay focused on the product (not just trends), and always think holistically about the experience you’re crafting.
Reconnecting and Meeting New Faces
Events like UXplore are more than just sessions, they’re about community. We enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new talents. These connections are what make this industry vibrant and forward-thinking.
Attending UXplore 2025 reminded us why we love being a part of this industry. The shared knowledge, passion for design, and collaborative spirit left us both inspired and motivated to bring fresh ideas and perspectives back to our work at X Gate.
Huge thanks to the organizers for putting together such an impactful event.
We are already looking forward to next year!
