Celebrating 7 Years Together

blog

Seven years ago, X Gate was founded by our CEO, Martin Taleski, with a vision that was never driven purely by business, but by a desire to contribute to the local economy and create a space where ideas could be realized, where people could grow together while building something valuable.

Over the years, that idea turned into something much bigger. Today, we are a company with three offices in Prilep, Skopje, and London, working with clients across the globe, and most importantly a team of driven, motivated, and genuinely happy people.

So when it came time to celebrate our 7th anniversary, one gathering simply didn’t feel like enough. Instead, we stretched the celebration across two weekends, bringing our teams together where it matters most: in person.

Two Weekends, Five Cities Together, One Team

We kicked things off in Skopje, gathering our local team alongside a colleague who joined from Kumanovo. From the very beginning, there was a sense that this wasn’t just another evening, but it felt like something we all genuinely needed.

The energy came naturally: music, dancing, and an atmosphere where everyone was simply present, without hurry or agenda. Conversations unfolded easily, laughter came without effort, and for a few hours, work quietly faded into the background, making space for something more human. It was one of those nights that stays with you, not because of anything planned, but because of how it felt to be part of it.

The second part of the celebration took us to Prilep. This time, the group grew even more: colleagues from Prilep, Bitola, and Kochani joined in, along with a few colleagues who made the journey from Skopje once again, just to be part of it.

And somehow, it felt like everyone arrived already connected.

What stood out wasn’t the logistics or the distance covered, but the ease with which people settled into each other’s company. Different cities, different daily rhythms, yet in that moment, everything aligned so naturally that it felt less like gathering and more like coming home to the same space, the same energy, the same people.

Evenings Well Spent

The nights in Prilep each brought a different kind of experience.

The first evening was all about tradition, so we gathered in a local kafana, sharing food, drinks, and stories in a setting that felt both relaxed and familiar. It was a reminder of how much culture and atmosphere shape the way we connect.

The second night took a different turn.We spent the evening in a local pub, enjoying the sounds of a live band filling the space with warmth and rhythm. It was a night less about structure, more about spontaneity. Smaller groups, different conversations, and a chance for everyone to enjoy the evening in their own way.

Slowing Down in Prilep

Beyond the celebration itself, Prilep gave us something equally valuable, time to slow down and connect in a different way.

Our colleagues there took the lead, showing us around the city with a simple but thoughtful plan: coffee, conversation, and a walk through the center. It wasn’t structured or formal, but that’s exactly what made it meaningful. These are the moments where connections become stronger without trying too hard.

Growing Together — Then and Now

Looking back, what makes these seven years truly meaningful isn’t just the growth in numbers, projects, or reach, but it’s the consistency behind it all.

We’re still working with some of the very first clients we started with seven years ago. What began as collaboration has quietly evolved into long-term relationships built on trust, shared challenges, and mutual growth. Watching those partnerships mature over time has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

At the same time, we’ve been fortunate to welcome new partners along the way, each bringing new challenges, new perspectives, and new opportunities that have helped shape who we are today.

That balance between continuity and change, between long-standing trust and constant evolution, is something we don’t take for granted. It’s what gives this journey its depth and what makes it feel truly meaningful.

What These 7 Years Really Mean

Anniversaries are often measured in numbers: years, projects, growth. But this one didn’t feel like a milestone on a timeline. It felt like a gathering of people who, in their own quiet way, have been building something together all along. They are the ones who show up every day with intention, curiosity, and a genuine care for what they do. Those are the people who solve problems, carry responsibility, support each other, and keep things moving forward.

Grateful for every mile traveled, every conversation shared, and every year behind us, not as a summary of time passed, but as a collection of people and moments that shaped us.

And let’s end with our CEO’s favourite lines, words that, over time, have quietly become part of how we think and work together:

No pressure!
No stress!
Just draw the circle first, then make it perfect!
Just keep moving forward!

And this is something that shapes how we move into the future.

Happy 7th to us! Let there be many more!
