The Next Generation of IT Talent
This month, we participated in a two-day Job and Internship Fair organized by Kontakt at TMF, and we can honestly say it was one of the most energizing professional experiences we’ve had in a long time.
The fair brought together a wide range of young talents, each eager to explore the possibilities the IT world has to offer. What stood out most was the diversity in how they think, learn, and approach technology.
While many students are excited to embrace AI tools and experiment with new technologies, others are surprisingly hesitant. Some raised concerns about the environmental impact of AI, describing it as a significant consumption of energy, while others felt it was too complicated or simply not worth the effort. These perspectives opened up honest and meaningful conversations—not just about AI itself, but about responsibility, mindset, adaptability, and how each individual chooses to grow in a fast-changing industry.
At one point, a student asked us a very direct question: “Are you here just to market yourselves, or why are you here?”
It was a fair question, and an important one.
Because the answer is simple.
We were there to connect. To share who we are beyond job titles and open positions. To talk about our values, our way of working, and the things we truly believe in. And most importantly, to meet young people whose mindset, curiosity, and ambition align with ours.
We showed up as a team of five, stepping into this experience for the first time. Yet from the very beginning, it felt natural-like something we had done together many times before. There was alignment, trust, and an easy rhythm in the way we supported each other, shared conversations, and represented who we are.
And that’s exactly what we came to share.

Throughout the fair, we were inspired by the energy of the students, not just their technical knowledge, but their mindset. Many are already going beyond what is expected of them, building personal projects, exploring new ideas, and actively shaping their own paths. That kind of initiative is what drives real progress.
At the same time, the different perspectives we encountered—including skepticism toward AI—reminded us that growth looks different for everyone. And that’s exactly why conversations like these matter.
These two days were intense, dynamic, and full of human connection. Dozens of conversations, hours of listening, exchanging ideas, and learning from each other. It all added up to something bigger than just an event. It was a reminder of why we do what we do.
